The North East Child Poverty Commission (NECPC) is a regional cross-sector stakeholder network which believes child poverty in the North East is not inevitable and ending it is worth working for, together.

The National Lottery Community Fund is a UK organization that allocates over £600 million annually to community projects, thanks to National Lottery players. The fund supports diverse initiatives such as community development, environmental sustainability, and social services, offering grants both below and above £20,000. It also provides guidelines for applicants and showcases strategic goals and previous projects on its website.

Children North East is a charity aiding children, youth, and families in Northeast England, tackling issues like poverty and mental health. The organization provides comprehensive services such as therapy, counseling, mentoring, and educational programs to promote well-being. It also focuses on “Poverty Proofing” initiatives, aiming to eliminate barriers in schools and healthcare.
